(Gabe and Sushi)Gabe is getting so big so quickly! Of course i don't notice it as much since i see him everyday, but the other day it hit me when his body took up most of the length of the changing table! And i know he wasn't that big when he was born!! This is such an exciting time for a parent. As I said last week, Gabe is slowly starting to communicate and interact with me. Som new things for this week:
- Gabe's milk intake increased by about 1/2 oz each feeding.
- When i picked him up from the day care at the gym he recognized me and started smiling!! what an amazing feeling
- one night this week he slept from 10 pm tp 7 am!!! i have no clue if this is something that will keep in happening but at least i know its possible and that there IS hope!!!
- he's starting to find his hands and his thumb to suck on. i know its bad but its so cute seeing him try to suck his hands - not realizing they can't fit in his mouth
- I took Sushi for a walk with Gabe in the body carrier and he loved it. Gabe loves seeing the world - i can tell he's a smart kid already. He's always so alert.
- Gabe held onto his toy rattle for a few seconds and stared at it so he's slowly learning and recognizing his toys.
